Saudi Arabia is located on the Arabian Peninsula, featuring year?round high temperatures, scarce rainfall and frequent sandstorms. Its economy has long been highly reliant on oil and petrochemical industries with a relatively single economic structure. To break its development bottlenecks, Saudi Arabia put forward Vision 2030 in 2016, striving to advance green, innovative and sustainable development and proactively develop high?tech industries.
Against this backdrop, Alat Company and Lenovo Group entered into a strategic cooperation to jointly build a world?class consumer electronics manufacturing base — the Lenovo Saudi Arabia Project. As the core technical service provider for the project, EDRI takes in?depth part in the construction through full?process professional design. It facilitates practical production?capacity cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia and contributes technical strength to the high?quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
